Are you ready to learn, quickly? Do you thrive on responsibility? Will you show us what you can do, if we give you the chance?
If you’re looking for a challenging, dynamic work environment with recognition and rewards for your creativity, innovation and determination, work with us.
A Zurich apprenticeship is an opportunity to be part of a global company that has a real desire to make a difference to our customers, whilst developing new technologies to help them protect what they love most.
Our IT Infrastructure Technician Apprenticeship is a great opportunity for someone who would like to start a career with one of the world’s most successful insurance companies. You’ll be able to earn and learn in an apprenticeship role that will give you a real job with real responsibility from day one in a truly global company.
As an IT Infrastructure Technician Apprentice you will play a key role in the operational delivery of IT applications that our business teams use to manage insurance products for our customers. You will work with suppliers supporting our applications, ensuring they deliver to their contracts and any business impact during incidents is minimised. Your support to our wider business will be critical for operational queries and bring our IT projects through transition to go live, helping to identify service improvements that directly benefit our business and customers.
Our apprenticeships cater for a variety of different skillsets and interests and you’ll receive all the training, support and opportunities you need to set you on your way to a successful career with us.
The key skills you will require for this role include:
  • A keen interest in IT outside of structured learning environments.
  • Good communication & teamwork skills.
  • Enthusiasm, personal commitment and self-motivation.
  • An appetite to learn, and achieve professional qualifications.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C/4 including Maths and English
  • A Levels or equivalent would be advantageous
  • A professional attitude with a positive ‘can do’ approach to your work
It’s a big challenge, but you’ll have a truly diverse network helping you. As an aspiring individual, you’ll be encouraged and guided to develop the skills you need. And as part of a diverse international team, you’ll have all the opportunities you need to learn and grow, both personally and professionally
How do you feel about the things you truly love? Don’t you want to protect them in the best way possible? Imagine if you could help people do this all over the world. You’d give them confidence and reassurance by protecting what they love most.
So make a difference. Be challenged. Be inspired. Be supported. Love what you do. Work for us.
