Our opportunity
Coordinate the implementation of Operational Risk Management framework.
Oversee control framework implementation and ensure appropriate challenge to, and review of, 1st line attestations and evidence, including consistency with other reviews of the control frameworks.
Your role
As a {Operational Risk Manager} your main responsibilities will involve
- Coordinate annual ERM adherence as per local regulator’s requirements and ensure passing regulatory audit
- Coordinate company-wide BCM activities to fulfill both Group BCM Requirements (ZRP 10.5 BCM) and regulatory requirements to enhance BCM effectiveness
- Coordinate operational risk management (inclusive but not limited):
- Conduct operational and project risk assessment
- Coordinate quarterly operational key controls’ evaluation / sign-off and conduct constructive challenge
- Implement Loss Event Management and build up local LEM DB via collecting internal external incidents, and awareness announcement
- Lead RM workstream in Information Security Management System (ISMS) project. - Other RM assignments
- Handle the requests from official letters
- Conduct semiannual self-assessment of compliance and update annual compliance handbook
- Conduct annual internal control self-assessment
- Other ad hoc tasks.
Your Skills and Experience
As a (Operational Risk Manager) your skills and qualifications will ideally include
- In-depth knowledge for overall insurance operation, market, organization and its people
- Good understanding of the holistic Governance approach and risk management
- Project management
- Proven people skills to generate support by key stakeholders and obtain the necessary resources
- Proven experiences with planning, organizing, controlling/following-through and motivating
- Multidisciplinary/lateral thinking; eager to learn
- Ability to swiftly adapt to ongoing changes without loosing sight of the fundamentals
- Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) - desirable
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) – Plus
- Certified ISO27001 - Plus
Additional Information
- Long-term experiences in the insurance industry with broad insurance exposures
- With BCM/Information Security/Project Management exposures
- At least 3-year experiences in Risk Management
- Working experiences in international insurance and/or banking is a plus.
- Consultancy experience is a plus
