Job Description

Location:    Home-based but will include UK wide travel.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within our Workforce Strategies Practice as a Risk Consultant.  Our team are known as “thought leaders” in the industry and as consultants we pride ourselves on understanding what drives a business and where their focus is, by building lasting relationships and providing a level of excellence we think sets us apart. We help small and medium sized companies and global corporations understand and protect themselves from risk by offering a wide range of risk management services.

This is an ideal role for a risk management professional with a broad range of experience who is looking for a new and exciting challenge. In this role the successful candidate will enjoy a varied, challenging and rewarding diet of work in areas of enterprise risk management, supply chain, business continuity and information risk.  You will have a great deal of autonomy and will benefit from working with an experienced and high performing team, utilising cutting edge Risk Engineering technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake a range of customer engagements including gap analysis, training and bespoke consultancy;

  • Produce high quality professional reports providing best practice advice to customers and underwriters;

  • Collaborate with customers to identify, develop and deliver risk management support programmes;

  • Develop business opportunities in relation to the growth of fee income;

  • Promote risk management advice and best practice through speaking engagements and Zurich media channels;

  • Support and enhance our underwriting and customer propositions
Your skills and experience:
  • A track record of designing and delivering Enterprise Risk Management and/or Business Continuity programmes of work;

  • Knowledge of some of the following risk topics – risk appetite, project management, supply chain and information risk;

  • Confidence to engage at C-suite levels and ability to articulate the business case for risk management to our customers and brokers;

  • An enquiring mind being able to probe logically to establish key risk information;

  • People centric being able to build strong and sustainable relationships with internal and external stakeholders;

  • Creative mind-set with a willingness to work outside of your comfort zone;

  • A dedicated team player with a “can-do” approach to their work
  • A professional certification such as CMIRM advantageous.
