Job Description

The opportunity: Support Services Assistant (Part Time, Job Share or Full Time)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assists other team members so that team objectives are achieved on a daily basis
  • Carries out non routine duties as required by the Support Manager
  • Provides administrative support to other aspects of engineering as directed by Support Manager
  • Respond to and resolve enquiries and problems, judging when to pass complex queries on to or involve others, to provide an effective customer service and clear advice to colleagues and customers
  • Provide feedback and recommendations for the improvement of processes and systems
  • Prepare documents, presentations and other materials to a clear brief, using established formats and standard software, to present the content clearly and accurately
  • Develop a practical understanding of how processes and systems in own area of work relate to the overall engineering proposition

Your skills and experience:

This is an entry level role so whilst it would be great if you have some commercial experience, what’s more important is that you are an enthusiastic self starter who can mirror our values. You’ll be part of a diverse and supportive team and as such will be keen to support where you can.
