Compliance Transformation Delivery Manager – 11 month contract

Zurich Insurance Plc is looking for a Compliance Transformation Delivery Manager, to join a fast paced and dynamic compliance team, charged with delivering an ambitious and challenging project to enhance the services Compliance provide to the business within EMA Business Units (BUs). Strong program management leadership skills are essential, but the right candidate will also have some regulatory experience and be a key part of the team in helping to develop and implement key deliverables for Zurich and its Customers. 

This position will support the Chief Compliance Officer – ZIP, the Regional Compliance Officer – EMEA and the wider Regional Compliance Team to define and oversee several underlying and interlinking projects (referred to as work streams) needed to reach the program’s overall transformation goals.


Your Role

As a Compliance Transformation Delivery Manager your role extends beyond the completion of individual projects to the long term realization of the whole transformation program. Your main responsibilities will involve:

  • Driving strategic benefits and organisational transformation by working directly with the Project Sponsor and Workstream Leads, managing and controlling project delivery in accordance with baseline parameters and standards to drive project success for the EMEA BUs.
  • Being an active member of the EMEA Compliance team involved with researching, assessing and developing innovative solutions to help deliver and embed the projects strategic objectives rather than isolated/tangible deliverables

  • Being a driving force in the roll-out of new processes, working with local ‘Change’ Champions within EMEA to ensure successful adoption.

  • Assessing the risk of the execution of change projects, reporting updates and liaising with the Project Lead and Steering Committee in order to protect project execution.

  • Engage and support BaU delivery in some areas for an effective and relevant project delivery involvement.

  • Building strong relationships with Senior Compliance leadership (at a regional and local level), Compliance Representatives and ‘Change’ Champions.

  • Availability to travel (max.15%)

Your Skills and Experience

As a Compliance Transformation Delivery Manager your skills and qualifications will include:

  • A substantial, proven track record of managing a complex set of interconnected projects in a relevant business context
  • 5 or more years’ experience in the insurance industry
  • Experience in a Risk, Audit or Compliance function
  • Excellent organizational and influencing skills
  • Consistently demonstrates initiative, drive and resourcefulness
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluent written and spoken English language skills (C2 Proficiency);

  • Self-motivated with ability to work on own initiative without close supervision

Additional Information

Primary work location is IFSC. Position is Dublin based but occasional travel may be required to other Zurich locations.
