Data & BI Operations Manager

In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of Enterprise Data Analytics & Architecture delivery services across all platforms, including integration points between them, managing an operations team. You will proactively manage operational processes and topics and effectively address escalations related to application issues and drive service improvement.

As Data & BI Operations Manager, your main responsibilities will involve:


  • Coordinate the service operations for assigned application portfolio and support the Subject Matter Experts as well as Service Delivery Manager by following standard Service Management processes (Incident Management, Change Management, etc.)
  • Maintain application and manage operations team according to Service Level Agreements
  • Report overall application service performance to different business stakeholders proactively taking action to address issues and gaps with the business
  • Engage in major incident management and problem management
  • Proactively drive communications to the business (e.g. Incident alerts, change freezes, etc.)
  • Contribute to the service management strategy and definition of reusable frameworks
  • Participate on customer satisfaction management and service improvement programs, as well as escalation and complaint management



Your Skills and Experience


As Data & BI Operations Manager, your skills and experience will ideally include:

  • University level education or equivalent
  • Over 5-8 relevant years of experience
  • Solid understanding of ITIL processes – Incident and Request Management, Change Management (e.g.ITIL)
  • Atlassian tooling: JIRA, bamboo, bitbucket (DevOps) and SNOW tool
  • Knowledge of BI tools and basic technical background (at least one of SAP Analytic Cloud (SAC and BTS), JAVA, TIBCO EBX MDM)
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Communication/presentation skills, team management, relationship management
  • Ability to work effectively in a global organization across different geographies, under time pressure and to manage ambiguity
