We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Application Support Specialist to join our Sourcing & Procurement (S2P) IT team.

Your Role

 

As an Application Support Specialist your main responsibilities will be:

 

  • Resolving and coordinating incidents, applying changes, and managing application releases.
  • Ensuring application compliance in line with our governance standards and supporting internal and external audit activities.
  • Participate in project go-lives and facilitate support/application transition into business as usual (bau).
  • Create and maintain application and process documentation.  
  • Reporting on performance and service KPI´s.

 

Your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Information Technology and general experience in related field.
  • A demonstrated ability to understand business needs and how applications can support those.
  • You will need effective communication and interpersonal skills. The role will require you to interact with various levels of stakeholders in a large organisation.
  • English language proficiency is required.
  • Understanding of ITIL and how to apply AGILE within an IT organisation.

 

Desirable experience:

 

  • Experience working with and troubleshooting issues pertaining to cXML, API calls, Liquid/HTML/PHP
  • Experience working with supply chain or procurement teams.
  • Experience in 2nd or 3rd line application support.
  • Hands-on experience with Coupa Cloud, SYNERGi GRC or WalkMe.
