We focus our efforts in helping youths in risk of social marginalization and fighting climate change by reforesting parks or woods in Madrid and in the Doñana Forest. This year alone, we have already volunteered for over 13000h!

At this point you might be asking yourself: Juan, how will be my day to day wearing the blue sweater?  I asked that question too.

You will be part of the Investment Analysis, Risk, and Capital team within the Investment Management department, which manages the investments for several countries within the Zurich Group. The team focuses on tasks related to the database management and reporting of investment portfolios, Asset-Liability management (ALM), risk calculations and financial planning.

We are seeking an individual who can assist the team with tasks related to the above areas, with a particular focus on financial planning:

• Monitor investment income to ensure annual targets are met and analyze initiatives for portfolio improvements.

• Attribute and analyze the impacts of investment income compared to the Plan.

• Participate in the 3-year planning cycle.

• Analyze investment costs and propose improvements to the current cost model.

How do you know you fit in? I’ll explain:

Don’t worry, we are not asking you to save the planet or meet 100% of the requirements.  

• Currently pursuing a degree or a master’s degree in business administration, Economics, Finance, or a related quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Physics).

• Demonstrated interest in financial markets.

• Advanced knowledge of Excel is a must and a solid foundation in VBA programming is highly valued.

• Proactive, eager to learn, and a strong team player.

• It is required to be able to make a collaboration agreement with the University and / or Business School for a minimum of 6 months with the possibility of extension.    
• We do not stop growing and if this works, we would love you to keep growing with us!  
• Part-time (5h/day from Monday to Friday).  
• The location will be in our offices in Barcelona.   
• It is a paid internship of 800€.    
• In addition, you will have access to training and much more!
