Data Analyst & Architect - CLP (Corporate Life & Pensions)

Our opportunity
Global Digital Platforms – CLP IT (Corporate Life & Pensions) is expanding its team support the CLP data strategy globally. You will be the technical product owner of the CLP data strategy, work closely with the business stakeholders and translate business needs into data solutions.

 

Your role
As a CLP Data Analyst & Architect your main responsibilities will involve:
•    Work with CLP Business stakeholders to identify the best translation of business requirements into data solutions
•    Design, develop and deliver the appropriate solutions, in line with Zurich policies and processes and regulatory requirements.
•    Collaborating with colleagues from across the wider CLP IT & BIZ team
•    Guide the Business Stakeholders to use the solutions in the optimal way and help the deployment of the solutions
•    Lead and instruct the development team, providing them with detailed technical requirements
•    Ensure adherence to Zurich and CLP data architecture
•    Ensure ongoing maintenance of deployed solutions

 

Your Skills and Experience
As a CLP Data Analyst & Architect your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
•    Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics/Statistics and 3 or more years of experience in related field
•    Proven skills in working in database management, business analysis, architecture
•    Strong verbal and written communication skills in English is mandatory, other languages are a plus
•    Strong interest in designing, delivering, and maintaining business solutions
•    Preferred Qualifications:
•    SQL - Proficiency Level Advanced
•    Programming - Proficiency Level Intermediate
•    Data Warehousing - Proficiency Level Advanced
•    Knowledge of Insurance Industry - Proficiency Level Basic
•    Data Modeling - Proficiency Level Intermediate
•    Data Architecture domain knowledge - Proficiency Level Advanced
•    Azure Data Factory - Proficiency Level Intermediate
