Enterprise Data Analytics Operations Manager

In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of Enterprise Data Analytics & Architecture delivery services across all platforms, including integration points between them, managing an operations team. You will proactively manage operational processes and topics and effectively address escalations related to application issues and drive service improvement.


Your role

As Enterprise Data Analytics Operations Manager, your main responsibilities will involve:

  • Coordinate the service operations for assigned application portfolio and support portfolio Service Manager by following standard Service Management processes (Incident Management, Change Management, etc.)
  • Maintain application and manage operations team according to Service Level Agreements
  • Report overall application service performance to different business stakeholders proactively taking action to address issues and gaps with the business
  • Engage in major incident management and problem management
  • Proactively drive communications to the business (e.g. Incident alerts, change freezes, etc.)
  • Contribute to the service management strategy and definition of reusable frameworks
  • Participate on customer satisfaction management and service improvement programs, as well as escalation and complaint management


Your Skills and Experience

As Enterprise Data Analytics Operations Manager, your skills and experience will ideally include:

  • Fluent in English and German (spoken and written) is a MUST
  • University level education or equivalent
  • Knowledge of BI tools with functional and basic technical background (at least one of Big Data (Hadoop), MicroStrategy, Informatica PowerCenter or IBM DB2)
  • Solid understanding of ITIL processes – Incident and Request Management, Change Management (e.g. ITIL)
  • Communication/presentation skills, team management, relationship management
  • Ability to work effectively in a global organization across different geographies, under time pressure and to manage ambiguity
  • Prior experience working in a finance services, preferably insurance is nice to have

Work location is Spain-Catalonia-Barcelona with occasional travel depending on the nature and level of involvement in respective projects.
