We are looking for an innovative and visionary GenAI platform engineer associate who is passionate about technology and business-driven innovation to join Zurich's Group AI.

As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work hands-on and contribute to projects involving deep learning, large language models (LLM), computer vision, machine learning, and next-generation agents. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that collaborates on ideation, development, implementation, and deployment of AI solutions at the forefront of innovation.

This internship offers an excellent chance to explore emerging AI trends and make a real-world difference.

You will have the opportunity to work with a team of talented AI experts, machine learning engineers, data engineers, backend developers, ML Ops professionals, architects, and AI Governance specialists.

Your role

As a GenAI platform Engineer Associate Intern you will have opportunity to: 

• Work at a leading multi-line insurer that serves its customers in more than 215 countries with about 55 000 employees worldwide
• Gain experience in communication and dealing with business stakeholders across number of functions.
• Analyzing functional and non-functional requirements to design high-performance cloud-based data and AI platforms.
• Assisting the team in automating the build and run of the AI platform.
• Collaborating with internal and external teams, including vendors, to make optimal technology decisions.

Your Skills and Experience

We would like to give this opportunity to somebody who is: 

• Active student status with Spanish University/School is mandatory 
• University student interested in developing career in tech field 
• Looking for at least 6 months part-time/internship program  
• Tech savvy approach 
• An enthusiastic, capable, curious person craving to learn 
• A good team player with responsible and can-do attitude 
• Able to use English for communication with colleague and managers from abroad on daily basis 
• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn quickly and adapt to new situations and technologies.
• Able to collaborate with internal and external teams, including vendors, to make optimal technology decisions.
• Provide technical assistance to final GenAI users.
• Experience in cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
• Knowledge in automation, including devOps, dataOps, and MLOps. Exposure to SRE is a plus.
• Familiarity with security and compliance requirements.
• Nice to have technology understanding, including platforms, data, AI, APIs, and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with collaboration tools such as, Jira, Confluence, Service now and Mural.
• Good documentation skills will also be valued.
