Joining Zurich’s Group Information Governance team offers a fantastic opportunity to develop highly sought-after skills in a dynamic and rapidly growing industry. As technological innovations continue to accelerate, the regulatory landscape is evolving quickly. The Group Information Governance team plays a critical role in empowering the Information Governance Network across Zurich to comply with changing Data Privacy regulations through the development of resources, tools, and processes.

Given the universal nature of our work, our team collaborates with global stakeholders across all areas of Zurich. Consequently, while this role is part of the Group Information Governance team, you will interact with managers and experts at all levels of the organization. Networking and cross-functional collaboration will provide you with both challenges and opportunities for continuous development and learning.

This role provides a unique opportunity to gain comprehensive understanding of Data Privacy obligations and how business interpret and apply them in practice. Furthermore, you will have the chance to engage with other governance areas, including Artificial Intelligence, as we utilize a unified platform: OneTrust. Your contributions will be essential in maintaining and expanding this tool.

Your role

As an information Governance Intern you will have opportunity to: 

• Develop training materials for OneTrust users.
• Handle administrative tasks within the OneTrust platform.
• Liaise with and support the wider OneTrust@Zurich team on projects as required.
• Support a global Information Governance program.
• Assist in the establishment of a new Group Information communications strategy.

 Your Skills and Experience

We would like to give this opportunity to somebody who is: 

• Fluency in English with strong communication and collaboration skills
• Demonstrated strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a process-oriented mindset
• Experience using the Microsoft package, specifically Teams and SharePoint (nice to have)
• Familiarity with or an interest in learning about data privacy and protection regulations, such as GDPR or the Swiss Data Protection Act (preferred but not essential)
• Familiarity with the OneTrust application, especially the Privacy and Data Governance cloud (a big plus but not essential)
• A service-oriented approach
• Active student status with Spanish University/School is mandatory
• University student interested in developing career in tech field
• Looking for at least 6 months part-time/internship program 
• Tech savvy approach
• An enthusiastic, capable, curious person who is excited to learn
• A good team player with responsible and can-do attitude
