IT Performance Analyst

The IT Performance Analyst is responsible for the consistent and effective delivery of a suite of financial and administrative services across a defined IT portfolio, at relevant organizational level (Business Unit, segment, Group Functions and Group).


As IT Performance Analyst you will be overseeing a portfolio of IT projects/applications, controlling the budget usage and monitoring the financial impact of possible changes. You will also engage with relevant stakeholders for both reporting purposes and to ensure the correct delivery of the ongoing projects.


Your role


 As IT Performance Analyst your main responsibilities will require you to


  • Manage the financials and performance reporting for the assigned IT portfolio:
    • Act as first point of contact for all financial related topics, providing deep and detailed financial analysis and modelling.
    • Manage the delivery of budget and forecast in order to deliver strategic plans
    • Lead the preparation and submission of monthly accruals (tracking of vendor invoices – work orders, licenses, contractors etc.), preparation of monthly allocation keys, reporting and financial analysis to brief leadership teams.
    • Track actuals against forecast and budgets on a monthly basis and explain variances
    • Lead the production of all regular benefit tracking for key initiatives


  • Manage the delivery of robust, timely, regular and ad hoc business insights/ information to key stakeholders relating to the financial performance of the assigned portfolio to support delivery of strategic objectives and financial targets
  • Provide transparency on charges sent to internal customers
  • Demonstrate a cost-conscious approach to the achievement of individual and project or portfolio objectives
  • Develop a wide knowledge of relevant segments to act as a subject matter expert for any queries relating to financial performance
  • Prioritize own workload to ensure delivery of key tasks within agreed timelines
  • Seek opportunity to improve efficiency and drives resulting activity through to completion


Your Skills and Experience


As IT Performance Analyst your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

  • University degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in Cost Controlling / Analytics in multinational companies
  • Solid background in Financial Services
  • Expert knowledge of Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
  • Power BI desktop knowledge will be considered an advantage
  • Forward-thinking & Self-starter mindset to proactively identify opportunities and tackle them
  • Advance knowledge of English (oral and written)
  • Strong communicator and good team player
  • Significant experience in managing senior stakeholders
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to take ownership and manage own area of responsibility
