Our opportunity 

 

What is the SAP Integration Team?

 

The team provides the capability and services to load and extract data on the Group finance system, based on SAP FICO, from different business systems. The predominant service supported is an ad HOC application called Financial HUB, an ETL based on Informatica PowerCenter and DB2 that standardizes and validates Zurich financial data.

 

 

Your role 

 

You will collaborate with internal Zurich Finance teams and external IT suppliers to design technical solutions & support the development and maintenance of them. Your main responsibilities will be to understand team service and user needs, analyze provided solutions, verifying their accuracy to requirements & code quality and maintain current set of applications assuring platform & service operativity. Also, you’ll need to understand current SAP Integration landscape and find synergies and improvements over the different services.

 

As a Integration Architect your main responsibilities will involve:

 

  • Support business users identifying process improvements and service support gaps.
  • Support SAP Integration initiatives that improve current SAP Integration architecture & service.
  • Design application level solutions to our customer needs
  • Review and assure service key capabilities (space management, service continuity, platform reliability, performance…).

  

 

Your Skills and Experience  

  

As a Integration Architect your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

 

  • University degree in IT and/or Business or equivalent experience.
  • 4-5 years’ experience in Data integration / ETL Projects.
  • Knowledge of cloud architectures or platforms.
  • Experience working on a DevOps services.
  • Ability to work independently.

 

Knowledge and Technical Skills

  • Experience using Informatica Services, and preferably good knowledge of PowerCenter solution and/or Informatica Cloud Services.
  • Understanding of serverless and cloud based architectures.
  • Experience with SAP platforms.
  • Knowledge of SQL databases.

 

Other skills

  • Strong English (written and spoken).
  • Good communication, listening and questioning skills
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good business knowledge.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Workshop facilitator skills.
  • Ability and confidence to challenge and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities.

Primary work location is Barcelona, Poblenou. Please note that the remote work option is available within Spain only.
