You act as a true business partner and peer as the "Product Manager” in the GTO organization for the digital insurance & partnership domain. You define a strategic vision for the technological evolution of your domain in close alignment with the business evolution strategy.

With your excellent knowledge of solutions used in both the digital insurance & partnership domains, as well as your experience in transformations & business operations, you drive the transformation of solutions used in this domain, leveraging agile methodologies deployed at Zurich Insurance Group.

 

Your role

 

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strategic vision, technical aptitude, and strong leadership skills. This role requires a proactive individual who is motivated, adaptable, and committed to driving customer-centric solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Management & Strategy:
    • Develop and implement product strategies aligned with company vision.
    • Make informed decisions based on market research and competitor analysis.
    • Drive the product lifecycle from conception through launch and beyond.
  2. Customer Centricity:
    • Ensure products meet customer needs and enhance user experience.
    • Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform product improvements.
  3. Technical Aptitude:
    • Collaborate with engineering teams to understand and influence product architecture.
    • Stay updated with the latest technology trends and integrate relevant advancements.
  4. Communication & Collaboration:
    • Communicate product vision and strategy to stakeholders.
    • Foster a collaborative environment across cross-functional teams.
    • Present product updates and strategies to executive leadership.
  5. Organization & Methodology:
    • Implement effective project management methodologies to ensure timely delivery.
    • Utilize analytical thinking to solve complex problems and make data-driven decisions.
    • Manage finance and control processes related to product development.
  6. Research & Market Understanding:
    • Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis.
    • Maintain a tech radar to stay ahead of industry trends.
    • Understand market dynamics and customer needs to drive product innovation.
  7. Execution & Agility:
    • Lead project management efforts to ensure successful product launches.
    • Adapt to changing market conditions and pivot strategies as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5-8 working experience in the Insurance industry.
  • Track record of results delivery combining structured approaches with deep business knowledge (Insurance), innovation (Technology), and ecosystems.
  • Proven experience in product management or a related field.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to understand and influence product architecture.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
  • Exceptional analytical-, conceptual- and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with project management and agile methodologies.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish is a must.
    Conversational skills in Portugues is a big plus.
  • A master’s degree in business or related field is a must.
