Our opportunity

You will act as an internal SAP FI/CO consultant, and will participate in both SAP implementation and SAP maintenance (Enhancements, BAU requests, incident resolution), taking responsibility for supporting existing SAP FI/CO installations globally.

 

Your role 


As a SAP FICO Subject Matter Expert your main responsibilities will involve:

· Analyze actual underlying business needs and document requirements
· Propose solution alternatives and evaluate them
· Customize SAP and unit test
· Give world-class SAP support
· Detect problems and root causes
· Solve incidents and problems
· Implement enhancements
· Consult customer
· Take responsibility for supporting a SAP client/area
· Participate in SAP implementation projects & support local / transformation projects



Your Skills and Experience

As a SAP FICO Subject Matter Expert your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
· Higher education in informatics and/or economy
· Excellent written and spoken Spanish and English (Additional German is a true asset)
· At least 5 years’ experience in SAP international implementations with leading customizing positions
· Proven track of complete SAP templates rollouts and process harmonization.
· Ability to find defect resolution for any problem identified
· Effective team player in a global company, good communication skills
· Experience working in international environments with different cultures
· Ability to influence and work effectively with different levels and hierarchies


KNOWLEDGE

 

· Senior experience in SAP FI/CO modules specialized in Finance Accounting and Reporting

o NewGL required; Special Ledger would be a plus
o IFRS & other GAAPs knowledge
o Very good understanding of Financial Closing process in multinational companies
(revaluation, allocation, reposting, consolidation)

 

· Good finance & accounting knowledge

o Familiarity with insurance and Bank accounting
o Procurement to Pay processes
o Controlling: Internal Orders, CCA, PCA & PA 


· Good understanding of ITIL processes (preferably ITIL Certified) such as Change Management, Incident Management.

TECHNICAL SKILLS 

· Excellent SAP FICO (MM & SD good to have; Preferably SAP Financials Certified)
· Very good knowledge of MS-Word, EXCEL, Power Point and MS Project
· Any of a Plus: ALE, LSMW, cut over and migrations, SLO conversions, SAP technical upgrades and patching, Winshuttle.
· ABAP debugging skills would be a plus
