Our opportunity

 

As a member of the Security Technology Operations (STO) team, in the position of a Security Technology Consultant you will be working in a multi-disciplinary and global security team. Specifically working with a security toolkit in a global organization, your responsibilities will largely be focused in the areas of Secure Managed File Transfer. The successful candidate will need to be able to communicate clearly through English.

 

 

As a Security Technology Consult your main responsibilities will involve:

 

  • Consulting on managed file transfer (MFT) on a global scale for a multinational
  • Managing incidents and requests as >lv3 SME support
  • Maturing the products features and delivering enhancements
  • Understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and firewalls

 

 

Your Skills and Experience

 

As a Security Technology Consultant your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

 

  • 5 years’ experience with secure managed file transfer (MFT) tools or technology or other similar tooling
  • 10 years’ experience in a security operations or similar information technology position
  • Honours Degree / Bachelor of Science in computing
  • In-depth knowledge of Managed File Transfer protocols and technologies, such as SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, and AS2
  • Needs to be motivated to succeed and able to influence those around themselves working as part of a global team.
  • Happy to work on a global tool for management location in another location and time zone.
  • Clear and concise communicator
  • Confident in the subject matter

 

Nice to have:

  • Certifications: The following are a bonus (If not obtained a commitment to obtain and continue professional education is essential)
    • CISSP, Security+, Network+, CISM, AWS/Azure Cloud Fundamentals
