Join a multidisciplinary team with two ambitious goals:

  • deliver a global, all-in-one customer mobile app that brings Zurich Resilience Solutions and Zurich’s Risk Engineering best practices and trusted risk assessment methodologies at customer’s fingertips
  • deliver a global, all-in-one internal mobile app that leverages advanced on-device technology to allow risk engineers to assess risks with a single device plus visualize risk exposure to customers while onsite

 

The Business Analyst will be responsible for intake and analysis of application features demand on a global basis. Will lead and / or completes the elicitation of business requirement and their translation into solution requirements to ensure their implementation throughout the project life cycle. Will also support the business and project management team in prioritizing the feature development backlog and identifying critical path dependencies for release cycles.

 

 

Your role

 

As a Senior IT Business Analyst your main responsibilities will involve:

  • Monitoring demand gathering channels to identify potential feature integrations
  • Interfacing with Business Units to document requested features (incl. functional and non-functional requirements)
  • Transform requirements to solution specifications (in collaboration with the application development Team)
  • Analyzing demand according to impact and effort (in collaboration with the application development team)
  • Preparing backlog prioritization recommendations
  • Identifying critical path dependencies to features release
  • Support development of test plan, testing, implementation, and training activities
  • Perform Quality review on solution
  • Preparing Release notes content (in collaboration with Communications team)

 

Your Skills and Experience

 

As a Senior IT Business Analyst your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

  • At least 5 years in an IT/Tech senior business analyst role, ideally supporting mobile application development in large, complex organizations
  • Strong Business Analyst skills (e.g., analytical skills, requirement engineering, design thinking, agile methodologies)
  • Strong Communication skills in written and spoken English
  • Proficiency in Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project
  • Experience working in Agile methodology (Scrum, Kanban) and tooling (e.g., Azure DevOps)
  • Team player who is skilled at building up and managing stakeholder relationships
  • Proven ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
  • Good self-management skills and stress resilience
  • Highly organized with good attention to detail
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant field
  • Experience in project management is preferred
  • Spanish and German language skills are a plus
