In this role of a Senior Business Analyst, you will be part of the global “Reporting and Analytics” team within Group Investment Management. You will collaborate closely with business users in different countries and translate analytical and reporting needs into functional requirements and solutions. You will analyse interrelationships of business processes, complex data and financial systems, define IT specifications and implement reporting front-end solution for our global end user base.

 

 

Your role

As a Senior Business Analyst your main responsibilities will involve:

 

  • Develop analytical, regulatory, and operational reports and dashboards using business intelligence tools.
  • Analysis of reporting & analytics business requirements and translation into functional and technical solution specifications
  • Lead and support initiatives and projects related to new or existing business intelligence solutions.
  • Perform impact analysis of application holding an end-to-end view of the system.
  • Continuous improvement of existing reporting processes, services and infrastructure
  • Provide end-user support/training for global reporting needs.
  • Ensure compliance, governance and data quality.
  • Stakeholder management

 

 

 

Your Skills and Experience

As a Senior Business Analyst your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant field
  • 3+ years of proven experience as a business analyst, specifically in the field of business intelligence
  • Advanced skills for data analytics and data modelling with reporting front-end tools (MS Power BI or similar) is key.
  • Experience with cloud solutions (Databricks, Azure, AWS or similar)
  • Strong coding skills (preferably SQL, Python, Spark)
  • Nice to have SAP BW technical knowledge
  • Experience with data engineering and analysis
  • Strong Business Analyst skills (e.g., analytical skills, requirement engineering, design thinking, agile methodologies)
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
  • Strong communication skills in written and spoken English
  • Good presentation skills
  • Good self-management skills and stress resilience
  • Highly organised with good attention to detail
  • Familiarity ERP System SAP FAM/TRM or FICO is a plus
  • Relevant working experience in (insurance) asset management is a plus
  • Understanding of financial products, financial markets as well as the main accounting principles (IFRS, GAAPs) is a plus.
