Senior SAP SF Employee Central SME
As a Senior SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Subject Matter Expert, you will be an important part of the IT Global HR Portfolio Team supporting SAP SuccessFactors and other Global HR Systems.
Your main responsibilities are to contribute to and advise on the implementation and evolution of our SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central module, as well as other Global HR SAAS applications. To be successful in this position you need to understand the requirements of our customers and recommend design and configuration improvements. You will also ensure alignment with business requirements, acting as an interface with the Global HR Technology team.
Your Role
As an Senior SAP SuccessFactors SME, your main responsibilities will involve:
- Work with the Global and local HR teams to implement, maintain and enhance SuccessFactors Employee Central functionality and capability within the goals of the Global HR Systems Portfolio and underlying Zurich’s IT strategy.
- Support the Portfolio Manager in building the roadmap for Global HR Systems focused especially on Employee Central. This is normally in relation to a Business Case including cost/benefit analysis, risk assessment, project scope, and development of a high-level plan.
- In collaboration with our Implementation Partner (third party) as well as our Applications Support team, you will be responsible for overall SF system administration for implemented modules. This manes support, review and validation of documentation and technical specifications, perform impact analysis across the landscape, supervise implementation of change requests and ensure prompt resolution of system defects.
- Participate on implementation projects for new SuccessFactors modules and functionalities, ensuring IT deliverables are clearly articulated and deployed. You will also perform quality review checks on project IT deliverables including system configuration, role-based permissions, integrations, data and system security assessments.
- Work with supplier and HR team to implement SAP releases and updates ensuring that the implementation of such updates is understood by the HR team. Make recommendations for application and integrations improvements, and eventually for application de-commissioning.
- Act as liaison between the CoEs, Global HR and IT for your area of responsibility.
- Mentor lower-level colleagues.
Your Skills and Experience
As a Senior SAP SuccessFactors Subject Matter Expert your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), preferably with IT background. 5 or more years of relevant experience implementing, supporting, and evolving SuccessFactors systems for multinational organizations.
- Very high knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central. Other modules are a plus: Compensation, Opportunities Marketplace, Onboarding, Recruiting, Performance and Goals, Talent & Development.
- Experience with integrations between SuccessFactors and other enterprise HR technologies (SAP HCM, ServiceNow) and with other non-HR corporate applications. Experience with SAP Cloud Platform integrations is a plus.
- Result and service-oriented, persistent, proactive and capable of driving things forward on challenging situations.
- Several years of working experience in a multicultural environment with virtual teams. High intercultural awareness, real team player and open-minded attitude.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English (further languages are an asset)
