The Opportunity

 

Zurich Resilience Solutions (ZRS) have an opportunity for a Risk Engineering Assistant to join our diverse, enthusiastic and thought leading team. 

 

Working alongside ZRS risk engineer, this is a rewarding role focussed on providing administration and coordination duties for both customers and underwriters to ensure we provide excellent customer service standards. 

 

ZRS is pivotal to supporting customers, internal and external, with market leading risk management solutions and we are looking for candidates who are able to support our vision for exceptional customer service.

We are looking for candidates who have experience in managing and exceeding customer expectations, put customers first, act responsively in a team environment and demonstrate an appetite for excellence. 

 
The role is home based with very occasional travel within the UK.

This is because we want the best people for our roles, and we recognise that sometimes those people aren’t available full-time. What will you be doing? 

 

  • Pro-actively data gather to assist engineers with customer programmes  
  • Use data to build a pipeline of external fee work within the region  
  • Coordinate customer accounts including risk improvement actions, monitoring earned income and accurate capture of metrics  
  • Support the resolution of customer queries, including involving other stakeholders where relevant  
  • Deliver high quality internal and external customer reports  

 

What are we looking for? 

 

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team  
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. 
  • Strong organisational skills  
  • Advanced skills with MS Office packages, including structure of advanced PowerPoint and Excel data integrity such as pivot tables  

 
It would be preferable if you have:  

  • Experience of delivering services external customers  
  • Knowledge of the insurance industry
