Insurance is so much more than you think!

Are you looking for a career that will excite, challenge and inspire you after you've finished university? If so, a Zurich Insurance graduate scheme could be just what you're looking for. It's a great way to get real-life experience of working in insurance and discover what you enjoy. You'll get plenty of opportunities and support to shape your career and make a difference to our customers at a time when they need us the most.

Each Zurich graduate scheme is a permanent role and is just the start of your career with us. We'll continue to cheer you on every step of the way once you’ve finished and will remain committed to helping you grow. Working in insurance is so varied - you’ll find many different opportunities to explore.

What can I look forward to?

Our Risk Consulting programme will give you the opportunity to start building your skills in identifying and managing our customers strategic and operational risks. Through completing research to understand the risk profile, undertaking detailed on-site surveys, delivering bespoke risk consultancy solutions and providing training and workshops you will learn and subsequently lead the customers risk management process. Zurich Resilience Solutions (ZRS) assists underwriters and customers every day in areas such as occupational health and safety, employer, public and product liability, mental health and wellbeing, motor fleet, enterprise risk management, business continuity and organisational resilience.

Through a programme of rotation around our market leading teams and working with experienced risk consultants you will experience how a comprehensive approach to risk management can add value to an organisation.

As you develop through the scheme you will be exposed to the ZRS Network that spans the globe allowing you to interact with consultants from multiple different countries.  Building your knowledge around specialist and emerging risks and how different areas respond will continue to expand your risk management knowledge.

To ensure ongoing professional development, the ZRS scheme is supported by completion of a level 7 MSc Risk and Safety Leadership Apprenticeship delivered by the University of Portsmouth.
