Become a member of EMEA Pricing and Analytics Hub supporting EMEA Regional Pricing team and General Insurance Pricing teams across EMEA in various analytical activities.
As a Data Analyst trainee you will analyze complex data, design the data structure and build dashboards to support risk analysis and portfolio management, and develop and validate predictive models to estimate customer’s risk using advanced modelling techniques.
Your role
As a Data Analyst Trainee, your main responsibilities will involve:
- Design and implement data structures that facilitate efficient data collection and analysis of pricing execution KPIs
- Build tools and dashboards for monitoring and analyzing KPIs, ensuring ease of use and accessibility for stakeholders
- Prepare data for actuarial analysis using scripting languages such as R, SAS and Python
- Support predictive modeling initiatives
- Participate in team meetings, providing insights and updates on your progress.
Your Skills and Experience
As a Data Analyst Trainee, your skills and experience will ideally include:
- University student in actuarial science, finance, statistics, mathematics, econometrics or similar – not in the final year
- Communication skills, fluent in English
- Creative, open-minded and proactive approach
- Willingness to cooperate closely within an international team
- Advanced skills with Excel
- Experience with Power BI, Python is a plus
Additional information
- Wage: 8 EUR/hour
- Location(s): Bratislava
- Hybrid working: It would be nice to meet you in the office 2-3 times a week, if you live close by. We are also open to hear your preference to work from home more often.
- Student part-time contract – 20 hours/ week
- Flexible working time to match your university schedule
- 1 year duration
