Your role 

As a Head of SAM Data & Technology, your main responsibilities will include:

• In this role you will be fundamental for the evolution journey of the global Software Asset Management organization towards automated and data driven organization with an objective to build an ecosystem of data, tools and technology which maximizes SAM value and operations across our organization.
• Provide forward looking direction for SAM and technical specialists and facilitate SAM function towards success through effective and accurate data and process automation.
• You will be responsible to independently collect requirements, analyze, process, propose and develop new solutions, applications, automation flows, interactive near real time reports and other technology innovations which would have a measurable global impact on all IT and Finance senior executives.
• You will be liaising with a wide range of stakeholders, such as architecture, security, infrastructure, data, AI, cloud, finance and other teams to learn new things, rapidly scale and deploy successful products used in every corner of the world within the Zurich group.
• You will be working independently on projects, responsible for end to end from idea to production roadmap while enjoying vast supporting network of other senior colleagues who would provide regular feedback, advise, troubleshooting, coaching and testing.
• You will be heavily focusing on data quality and reliability optimization, successful ELT flows, optimization of databases (or creating new designs for it).

Your Skills and Experience

As a Head of SAM Data & Technology, your skills and experience will ideally include:

• Bachelor's degree.
• Deep SAM Tooling (i.e. Flexera knowledge)
• 5+ years of experience in developing and implementing asset management tools and frameworks of which 3+ years in direct ownership of SAM Technology & Tooling.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to process data and work in a complex global organisational environment.
• Personal and professional accountability, ability to deliver through others, can demonstrate a high work ethic and committed to doing the right thing, curious, willing and able to offer a different perspective with a genuine focus on solution and the confidence to make it happen.
• Extremely strong organization and productivity skills, ability to interface with managers, staff and stakeholders within the organization.
• Exceptional analytical skills, financial and commercial acumen.
• Good time and project management skills.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
