Your role
As a Trainee, your main responsibilities will involve: 

• Support of existing actuarial projects in the area of reporting/reserving/modelling
• Support of new initiatives in the area of AI
• Support of data management in finance (R/Python)
• Development of claim life cycle model for calculation of claim reserves (Python, interest to learn about predictive models)

Your Skills and Experience

As a Trainee, your skills and experience will ideally include:

• University student in actuarial science, finance, statistics, mathematics, econometrics or similar – not in the final year
• Communication skills, fluent in English
• Creative, open-minded and proactive approach
• Willingness to cooperate closely within an international team
• Willingness to embrace an actuarial career
• Experience with programming in R or Python is an advantage 

Additional information

• Wage: 8 EUR/hour
• Location(s): Bratislava
• Hybrid working: It would be nice to meet you in the office 2-3 times a week, if you live close by. We are also open to hear your preference to work from home more often.
• Schedule: part-time
• Student part-time contract – 20 hours/ week
• Flexible working time to match your university schedule
• 1 year duration
