About the team

The accounting and finance team is part of Group Finance and has ownership of full accounting ledger and finance reporting for both Group IFRS and Local Statutory valuation for Slovak branch of Zurich Insurance Ltd.

About the role

The role is within Accounting & Finance team focused on monthly/quarterly closings and financial reporting activities. As a student in our team, you will have a chance to oversee the full trial balance of the branch from both accounting and finance reporting perspective.  

Main duties

• Working with SAP ERP – accounting, reporting activities.
• Helping with Accounts Payable processing.
• Accounts Receivables - working with internal customers (branches of Zurich Insurance group): sending AR invoices, Intercompany balances confirmation etc.
• Support finance team during annual external audit and internal audit testing
• Completion of ad hoc tasks assigned by the team
• Participation in the improvements of processes/automation of reports

Few important notes

We are looking for:

• University student of finance/accounting - ideally 4-5th year of study
• A naturally interested individual seeking to learn and grow
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking
• A good team player with a responsible and can-do attitude
• Colleague not afraid to use English for communication with colleagues and managers

We offer:

• Ideally at least 1 year of part-time/internship
• Schedule: 20 hours per week
• Place of work: Bratislava
• Wage: 8 EUR/hour
