The position is also suitable for a fresh graduate or university student who can work at least 80% of the working time.


Your role


As IFRS 17 Actuarial Analyst, your main responsibilities will involve:


  • Design, development, maintenance, and provision of actuarial models to our stakeholders, particularly for the Australia business unit.
  • Reporting of actuarial numbers, related controls, documentation, and process improvements.
  • Cooperation on IFRS17 methodology development and its practical implementation.
  • Analysis of practical modelling issues faced while implementing IFRS17 Standard across different Zurich operated entities.
  • Participation in global industry discussions on any outstanding IFRS17 open methodology topics.
  • Actuarial process review and analysis.


Your Skills and Experience


As IFRS 17 Actuarial Analyst, your skills and experience will ideally include:


  • University degree in Actuarial science, Statistics, Mathematics, Probability, Econometrics or similar
  • English - advanced
  • Creativity, open minded and proactive approach
  • Experience with the Prophet actuarial modeling tool is welcomed
  • Experience with programming welcomed (e.g. Python, VBA, C++)


We offer 

Minimal salary offer is 1500EUR/ gross plus other pay elements based on your experience.
