Senior Business Analyst for GNLA (Group Non-Life Actuarial) portfolio #LI-Hybrid
 

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team. As our new colleague you would be acting as liaison/bridge between the Actuarial department and IT Developers.

You will be working on the GNLA applications, used for reserving, discounting, risk adjustment and accounting.

 

Your role

As a Senior Business Analyst, your main responsibilities will involve: 
 

  • Adapt to and apply different delivery methodologies including SCRUM/Lean/Waterfall.
  • Understand customer’s applications, processes, and objectives.
  • Support the project manager/product owner, including cost / benefit analysis, risk assessment, project scope and development of a high-level plan.
  • Produce requirement specifications and outline solution design documents throughout the project life cycle, incorporating change requests and finalization of requirements documentation.
  • Describe as-is / to-be models as part of the requirements i.e; process, data flow, workflow etc.
  • Analyse and manage requirement risk, traceability matrix and prioritize requirements.
  • Plan, conduct / facilitate sessions and ensure production of associated deliverables.
  • Support testing: development of test plan, creation and review of test cases, test execution. 
  • Training activities: introduce and explain new functionality to users. Preparation of user manual. 
  • Support post implementation activities including problem solving and being SPOC for users.
  • Effective communication on functionality and project planning both spoken and written.

 

Your Skills and Experience

As a Senior Business Analyst, your skills and experience will ideally include:
 

  • Master´s degree, preferably in an IT or Finance related field.
  • Experience in the insurance industry is beneficial.
  • Advanced level of English, both spoken and written.
  • 4-5 years of experience with Business Analyst work.
  • Strong analytical thinking 
  • Ability to perform complex tasks with minimal coaching.
  • Ability to perform under pressure.
  • Team player and user-oriented mindset
  • ITIL, DevOps experiences preferable

  • Hybrid working: It would be nice to meet you in the office 2-3 times a week, if you live close by. We are also open to hear your preference to work from home more often
