Senior Business Analyst for Actuarial Calculation Engine (ACE) application #LI-Hybrid
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team. This person would be acting as liaison/bridge between Actuarial department and IT Developers for strategic project related to IFRS 17 standards implementation.
Your role
As a Senior Business Analyst, your main responsibilities will involve:
- Understand customer’s objectives, processes and products in order to make recommendations.
- Able to adapt to and apply different delivery methodologies including SCRUM/Lean.
- Plan, conduct / facilitate sessions and ensure production of associated deliverables.
- Describe as-is / to-be models as part of the requirements i.e; process, data flow, workflow etc.
- Support project manager/product owner during project life, including cost / benefit analysis, risk assessment, project scope and development of a high-level plan.
- Produce requirement specifications and outline solution design documents throughout the project life cycle, incorporating change requests and finalization of requirements documentation.
- Planning and follow-up of Business Analyst activities for the project.
- Analyse and manage requirement risk, trace ability matrix and prioritize requirements.
- Support development of test plan, testing, implementation and training activities.
- Perform quality review checks on solution.
- Support post implementation activities including problem solving and measurement of benefits.
- Communicate effectively through different mediums at all levels.
- Ability to perform complex tasks with minimal coaching.
- Ability to perform under pressure.
Your Skills and Experiences
As a Senior Business Analyst, your skills and experience will ideally include:
- Master´s degree
- advanced level of English,
- 4-5 years of experience with Business Analyst work (projects)
- strong analytical thinking and team player,
- ITIL, DevOps experiences preferable
