Team Leader in International insurance 

 

We are looking for an experienced insurance professional to lead a regional team in the regional centre in Bratislava, Slovakia.

 

We are part of International programs of Zurich and we are helping our clients to manage their risk globally. The regional team in Bratislava is responsible for management of insurance partners in 30 countries from Czech Republic to Kazakhstan. The team also oversees and coordinates the portfolio, policy issuance, premiums and claims.

 

Successful candidate will be managing the performance, development and engagement of the team.

  

Your role

 

As Team Leader in International insurance, your main responsibilities will include: 

 

  • Lead a team of 10 insurance specialist ensuring they meet the performance goals and maintain their engagement.
  • Further improvement of key performance indicators including the speed of local policy issuance, reinsurance premium collection.
  • Develop the team by guiding, coaching and training in technical areas and local market knowledge.
  • Support the seamless experience of customers and brokers with our services.
  • Maintaining the quality of data in administrative systems.
  • Assuring the consistency of local insurance policies and our commitment to the global customer.
  • Conduct all activities in line with operating protocols.
  • Provide support to customers, colleagues and insurance partners on less usual queries and arrangements.
  • Maintain and further develop the relationships with insurance partners.
  • Support the further automation of the processes.
  • Participate in the introduction of product innovation to the region.

                                                                

Your Skills and Experience

 

As Team Leader in International insurance, your skills and experience will ideally include:

 

  • 5+ years’ experience in international insurance, fronting business, non-life underwriting, reinsurance or claims.
  • Technical knowledge of non-life products and operations (Property, Liability, Technical, Motor, Financial lines).
  • Strong interest in automation, increasing the effectivity processes and implementation of IT systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and customer focus capabilities.
  • Passion for leading and development of the teams.
  • Strong focus on responsibility and accuracy.
  • Excellent English is a must, any additional language is an advantage
     

 

Minimal salary offer is 2500€/gross plus other pay elements based on your experience.
