MS Teams Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Your role

 

 As a Teams SME your main responsibilities will involve

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for Microsoft O365 Teams and associated Telephony and Meeting services
  • Maintain and demonstrate a high level of awareness and understanding of industry trends and service evolutions, including Microsoft developments and functionality pipelines
  • Leading the assessment of Teams Releases on the Operational Environment and contributing to operational release management governance
  • Identify opportunities for Service Improvement and lead their implementation
  • Provide advice on Project integrations involving the Microsoft Teams application
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on new projects, contribute to the design, planning and execution of new functionality and integrations 
  • Create implementation and integration strategies, provide the high-level strategic vision, and collaborate with other stakeholders on implementation
  • Provide advice and guidance on operational issues, end user incident support on complex issues
  • Responsible for relevant Technical and end user documentation to be up to date and maintained
  • Contribute to the measurement and monitoring activities for the Teams application
  • Be an advocate for the Microsoft Teams Application assisting with activities to drive adoption and make full use of the applications functionality
  • Communicate clearly across all divisions to employees at all levels
  • Work closely with teammates to ensure timely delivery of project goals

 

Your Skills and Experience

 As a Teams SME your skills and qualifications will ideally include

  • MS-700 Teams Administration Certification
  • 7 years’ experience in Information Technology with at least 4 in a supervisory or expert IT role
  • ITIL 4 fundamentals an advantage
  • University Degree or equivalent or specific relevant working experience
  • Deep understanding of M365 Teams environment and technologies including
  • Experience of running Microsoft Teams in an enterprise environment
  • Expert Knowledge of Microsoft Teams admin procedures, configurations, tools, processes, and operations
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve Microsoft Teams service and performance issues
  • Ability to consult and advise on Microsoft Teams related change and project activities
  • Good understanding of underlying M365/Azure architecture and design principles
  • Good working knowledge of Mobility/EMS interfaces with M365 services
  • Knowledge of M365 Security and Identity requirements and integrations
  • Experience of working with Microsoft as a key vendor
  • Ability to operate using consulting and influencing skills, and able to communicate IT related concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff
  • Experience of coaching users, producing, and delivering end user materials, Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proven experience of delivering IT Service Improvements
  • Strong integrity and highly ethical
  • Execution – Can demonstrate a track record of consistent delivery
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English

 

We offer

 

Minimal monthly salary offer is 2 500 EUR Gross. Final salary would depend on your experience and competences.
