Telephone Broker Account Manager (Part-Time, Job-Share, Full-Time)

Salary: £25,000 to £30,000 depending on experience, plus excellent benefits

Join one of the world's largest and most respected Insurance companies and start or further your career in Insurance. We are expanding our team and looking for a Telephone Broker Account Manager to support the growth and development of our Retail Sales and Distribution team in Cardiff.

 

As a Telephone Broker Account Manager, you will be responsible for creating, developing, and managing a panel of brokers to achieve broker development and Retail targets.

 

Using your strong sales techniques, you will drive profitable growth across the regional broker landscape and all Retail lines of business. If you excel in providing excellent customer service and have strong communication and quick learning skills, this role is perfect for you. Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and grow relationships with small to medium broker businesses, challenging them to improve client outcomes through robust processes.
  • Offer differentiated retail insights to improve outcomes for advisers and customers through telephone communication.
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of how small to medium advisory businesses operate and challenge principals and business owners to add value to clients.
  • Discuss and highlight sales propositions using remote distribution methods, adding value to processes and customer outcomes.
  • Build and manage relationships with brokers to achieve financial and operational sales targets.
  • Stay up to date with market and industry developments, providing brokers with valuable market insights.
  • Utilise a robust sales process to effectively account manage existing relationships and drive new business growth.

 

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Good understanding of the Intermediary marketplace, competitors, and business models.
  • Ability to deliver a consultative sales process and consult with intermediaries about their business needs.
  • Adaptable communication style to cater to the needs of intermediaries.
  • Strong networking skills through remote media and face-to-face contact.
  • Effective organisational and planning skills with a creative and innovative mindset.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and resilient in a fast-paced environment.
