SAP Reporting Specialist

Zurich North America is currently hiring an SAP Reporting Specialist and this person will work in a hybrid schedule at our Schaumburg, IL North America HQ.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Data Management: Manage and oversee the collection, analysis, and distribution of data using SAP software. Ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Report Creation: Develop, design, and implement custom reports according to business needs. Use SAP tools like SAP BusinessObjects, Crystal Reports, Analysis for Office (AO), SAP Analytics Cloud (Planning) and BW for creating insightful reports.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze data and report findings to assist in business decision-making. Look for the market trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work with various business units to understand their reporting needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Training: Train end-users on how to use SAP reporting tools and interpret reports. Develop user manuals and guidelines.
  • Troubleshooting: Address any issues or problems related to SAP reporting. Provide technical support to users experiencing difficulties with SAP reporting tools.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate reporting processes and tools for improvements. Implement changes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Compliance: Ensure all data management and reporting activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelors Degree and 7 or more years of experience in the Application Design and Development area OR
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 9 or more years of experience in the Application Design and Development area

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • 6+ years’ experience of SAP Business Warehouse and S4 HANA implementations in a highly technical and analytical environment
  • Proven knowledge of SAP Business Warehouse, estimation, S4 HANA, HANA studio, user acceptance testing, software life cycle, data warehousing, data models, warehousing, sap data, information management, structured, visualization, coding, data architecture, cloud applications and data architecture models
  • Experience with SAP software and specifically with SAP reporting tools such as Crystal Reports, Analysis for Office (AO), SAP Business Warehouse (BW), SQL and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of data management principles and practices.
  • Extensive knowledge of insurance or related business processes and procedures. • Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical topics to non-experts.
  • Expertise with MS Excel and other data analysis tools.
  • Understanding of database and query languages like SQL is often preferred.
  • Relevant SAP and other Analytics and Visualization tool certifications would be advantageous.
