Zurich Capability Center is looking for:
DevOps Engineer
To design, implement and support DevOps solutions. The team provides global support to Zurich IT projects to enable them to accelerate the adoption of Agile and DevOps automation practices.
You will be working in a very dynamic environment using advanced DevOps solutions with professional opportunities to grow in DevOps team and beyond and up skilling opportunities.
Key Accountabilities
• Define, design, implement and support DevOps solutions in compliance with the strategy and the group.
• Work with key stakeholders to understand the Cloud and CI/CD requirements.
• Create technical proposals to solve business and IT challenges
• Participate in the processes of strategic project-planning meetings and provide guidance and expertise on system options, risk, impact, and costs vs. benefits
• Perform analysis on best practices and emerging concepts in Cloud, CI/CD and DevOps.
• Participate in Solution Strategy, innovation areas and technology roadmap globally.
• Provide support for incidences and problems. Perform profiling, troubleshooting of existing solutions.
• Create technical documentation and implement solutions definition, patterns and templates in the platform

Skills
Functional/Technical Skills
As a DevOps Engineer your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
• In-depth experience designing and implementing DevOps pipelines (including Containerization and Virtualization), Release management, Deployment automation processes and version control tools
• Extensive knowledge of software development and testing methodologies along with change and configuration management practices in multiple environments.
• Good knowledge of Cloud services, Kubernetes, networking, databases, middleware, web services and related standards
• Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences; own a collaborative, partnership mentality.
• Team player with a positive attitude, strong communication (English verbal and written) & interpersonal skills
• Ability to think outside of the box and be innovative by keeping abreast of new trends, identifying opportunities to bring in change for business benefit
• Strong understanding of DevOps and Agile methodologies and concepts
Technical Skills
• Professional experience with automated deployment, continuous integration, and release engineering tools – Ansible, Bamboo, Jenkins, Maven, Ant, etc .
• Experience with some Cloud Services (Azure, Azure DevOps, etc)
• Experience with security protocols and practices (SSO, OAuth2, OpenID, certificates)
• Strong familiarity with GIT and other version control systems as software configuration management and Source Code Management tools.
• Experience with some programming language (like .net, Java, Python, YAML, SQL)
• Strong familiarity with scripting, or mark-up languages, like PowerShell Script, Groovy, JavaScript, Bash, Python, XML, HTML, JSON, or YAML in professional or academic environments
• Excellent Linux skills
• Experience with different OS, like CentOS (or other Linux distributions), RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Windows Server
Nice to have:
• Atlassian tools: Jira, Bamboo and BitBucket, Confluence
Azure certifications
• Knowledge of Containerization (Docker) and Container Orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Jenkins, Terraform, Helm, ArgosCD
• Experience with some CaaS: AKS, AWS ECS / EKS, OpenShift
• REST APIs development
