Test Lead Manager
#ZCC is currently hiring a:
Key Roles & Responsibilities
• Test strategy and planning, including recommendation of staffing plans and estimation of costs
• Provide strategic QA guidance and lead testing for transformational initiatives and / or application portfolios
• Remove impediments faced by project team members, utilizing agile methodology tools where applicable (e.g., scrum of scrum, retrospectives, etc.)
• Test management, communication, metrics, and status reporting, including identification of risks and escalation of issues to the project team or ZNA retained IT test lead / project managers
• Obtain approval from for all deliverables as per the defined acceptance criteria
• Prepare test summary reports for each software release targeted for production
• Coordinate work with onshore / offshore team members as needed
• Coordinate testing updates with ZNA retained IT Test Leads, Project Managers, Scrum Masters and Test Analyst(s) as needed to ensure alignment across stakeholders
• Defect Management approach and execution, including logging and reporting of defects and adherence to Defect Management by all project / scrum team members (including those outside of test team)
• Create/support/improve overall QA Process within project and within the organization using lessons learned
• Develop and coordinate the transition from project to release / prod support and ensure hand-offs are handled properly for testing, proper KT, roles / responsibilities, quality, etc.
• Recommend scope of work for automation testing and ensure plans are in place to implement and execute automation test scripts while coordinating with Test Automation strategy leaders
• Drive development of automation test scripts based on test strategy and existing frameworks
• Apply knowledge in testing tools and understanding of automation and performance testing concepts
• As needed, perform requirements analysis, author functional test cases, and execute test cases while understanding the testable software requirements
• Management and coaching of direct reports
Key Experience Needed
• Five + years of experience in Functional testing (creating test plans/test cases/test data strategy)
• Four + years of people management and leading of direct reports
• Four + years of experience with agile project delivery methodology (i.e., scrum)
• Four + years of experience with project and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Application Management Lifecycle (ALM), Azure DevOps, PICT, etc.)
• Experience with 1 or more test automation frameworks (e.g., ADAPT, Robot, SpecFlow)
• Experience with 1 or more UI Automation tools (e.g., Selenium, UFT, Cypress, Tosca)
• Experience in the financial services industry (e.g., insurance, banking)
