Web Developer

We are looking for a highly skilled Web Developer with expertise in API Automation Testing to join one of ourcore teams at Zurich Capability Center (ZCC). If you are passionate about web development, automation, and working with cutting-edge technologies, this is your chance to make an impact.

Job Description

• Acts in the highest technical role as an individual contributor and/or team lead for complex computer applications and initiatives.
• Utilizes a thorough understanding of available technology, tools, and existing designs.
• Works on the most complex problems, requiring evaluation of intangible variance factors.
• Plans, performs, and acts as the escalation point for platform designs, coding, and testing.
• Leads complex modeling, simulations, and analysis efforts.
• Acts as an expert technical resource to programming staff in development, testing, and implementation processes.
• Creates automated acceptance testing scripts as needed.

Basic Qualifications

• Advanced English skills – ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or MIS.
• 5+ years of experience programming in C#.Net and/or VB.Net.
• 5+ years of experience with Angular (version 17 or higher).
• 3+ years of experience with HTML5 and Bootstrap.
• 3+ years of experience consuming web services and web APIs.
• 3+ years of experience configuring and troubleshooting IIS and working with IIS authentication schemes.
• 3+ years of experience with SQL development (ability to read and write complex SQL queries).
• 2+ years of experience with Web API and MVC software architecture patterns.
• Proficient with Microsoft Visual Studio.
• Proficient with source control tools like Team Foundation Server and Git.
• Experience with Gherkin and a Cucumber implementation (preferably SpecFlow).
• Proven ability to write complex code and manage project lifecycles from initiation to implementation while ensuring software quality and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to SharePoint and related content management technologies.
• Experience with performance tuning applications.
• Exposure to diverse platforms and operating systems, including current and emerging technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter with a strong desire to learn, contribute, and think creatively.
