Underwriting Service Specialist within International Insurance Programs

We are now looking for a new colleague to join our Underwriting Service Specialist Team within International Insurance Program, working from our Danish, hybrid office.

 

Job description

As a Underwriting Service Specialist, you will handle International Insurance Programs and Domestic accounts within Property and Engineering Lines. You will work with international business, providing other Zurich Network Offices and Partners with information to issue required local policies within stipulated timeframes and quality. You will handle the Domestic accounts within the same Line of Business. In addition, you will support Underwriters in both pre- and post-bound activities and step in to support your Underwriting Service Specialist colleagues when needed.

 

As a person, you demonstrate strategic thinking and are accurate in your work. You have a problem-solving mind-set, are communicative, and show multitasking capabilities. You understand concepts and instructions quickly and are comfortable making own decisions within your own sphere of work but understand when to seek advice. You like to work in a large team where helping and supporting each other is an essential part of the success. You have an international mindset and like to work in an international environment.

 

Qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
  • Experience in a service role with market-facing activities / direct customer interaction
  • Experience within the international insurance market is a plus
  • High digital matureness with strong excel skills 
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills in both Danish and English is a requirement

Skills and competencies:

  • Ability to deliver excellent customer service
  • Ability to work in multiple systems comfortably, working with both speed and accuracy
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and change
  • Interest in continuous improvement of routines and processes
