Key Accountabilities 


You will support a part of specific Finance, Accounting and Reporting Functions related to close Operations and general Ledger Maintenance which is relevant for Zurich Group and local Statutory reporting with a focus on reinsurance administration. 


Your responsibilities are: 


  • Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with local instructions 
  • Assist and support Reinsurance administration in financial system (SAP) and in the internal policy & claims-system 
  • Assist and support Cost Accounting regarding incoming invoices and expenses and ensure a smooth but correct and transparent processing 
  • Prepare close related ledger tasks, e.g. accruals, provisions, journals, etc. 
  • Prepare account reconciliations and help to simplify reports  
  • Maintain the chart of accounts in accordance with local and Group requirements 
  • Perform SOX controls in compliance with internal control guidelines 




  • Bachelor degree in Accounting or finance 
  • Minimum of 1 year working experience in Finance Accounting role 
  • Fluent in English and at least a intermediate level of Dutch 
  • Good computer skills with advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and SAP or any other Financial software knowledge 
  • Clear and straight forward communicator towards internal and external stakeholders 
  • Work accurately and in a responsible way towards a smooth collaboration 
  • Desire to learn with a flexible approach to business change 
  • Ability to prioritize work to deadlines with team spirit in mind 
  • Excellent admin and processing skills
