Recruitment & Employer Branding Specialist


Zurich Insurance Benelux has seen strong business growth in recent years, to keep further accelerating our growth we are expanding our talent search. Currently we have an opportunity for a Recruitment & Employer Branding Specialist to join our HR team.


In line with our growth ambition your primary focus will be on recruitment and selection of a wide range of profiles, for positions both in Belgium and The Netherlands. You will also further develop our employer brand by establishing and expanding relationships with external partners, study associations and universities. Furthermore, there is plenty of room to show initiative and creativity in finding new ways to reach candidates and developing Zurich’s employer brand. Being able to manage stakeholders, providing a positive candidate experience and finding strong candidates in a tough job market are key to be successful in this role.


Besides R&S you will also have the opportunity to work on a variety of HR projects and topics and you also take care of some administrative tasks as part of the HR function.

We provide HR consultation to optimize people, structure, process and culture with the goal of achieving business results and always with employee wellbeing in our minds. Key Accountabilities


  • Manage, coordinate and administer the Benelux recruitment process from A-Z for a wide range of vacancies together with the hiring managers (this includes vacancy text drafting, posting, follow up on 1st candidate screening, propose and discuss profiles, conduct interviews, ensure pre-briefings and post recap briefings, draft and negotiate proposals).
  • Further expand the partnering and collaboration with schools and universities to ensure new candidate inflow and improve our brand visibility in close collaboration with our Marketing & Communications Manager
  • Drive actions and activities underpinning our ambition to be a truly diverse and inclusive employer.
  • Support the onboarding process for new employees, always looking for further improvements.
  • Implement and execute a variety of group HR processes and projects, both short and long term.
  • Initiate and implement a variety of HR projects in line with Zurich Benelux growth (this could be the implementation of a new process, guidelines, approach).
  • Support and coordinate all round HR admin and look for efficiencies and improvements.




  • Bachelor or Master level with minimum 3-5 years of experience in a recruitment-oriented HR role
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, knowledge of French is an asset
  • Good knowledge of current Dutch social law
  • Knowledge of insurance sector is an asset
  • Hands-on approach, eye for detail
  • Service minded with good communication skills
  • Accurate, organized multitasker
  • Team player and keen on learning in combination with rolling up your sleeves 
  • Computer skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Experience with recruitment software and affinity with HR systems and software is an asset
