As an IT Business Analyst, you'll be an integral part of a team composed of talented business analysts, innovative solution architects, and skilled developers. Together, you'll work on key applications and strategic projects that drive our Commercial Insurance International Programs.

You will analyze and prioritize business requirements, translate them into solution requirements and ensure their implementation at a highest quality level throughout the lifecycle. You have a sound knowledge in both, IT and the insurance industry and a vast interest to deepen your domain knowledge in Commercial Insurance and International Program business.

This is a fulltime hybrid role where you will be working from our office Diegem, Belgium.

 

Your day to day will be the following:

  • Plans, conducts / facilitates elicitation sessions for business requirements gathering with subject matter experts and end users
  • Produces requirement specifications and outlines solution design documents throughout the project life cycle
  • Engages in/facilitates solution design and brainstorming session across teams
  • Analyzes and manages requirement risk, prioritizes and aligns short/mid-term requirements with long term (multi-year) business visions
  • Contributes to business cases, including cost / benefit analysis, risk assessment, project scope definition and development of a high-level schedule
  • Defines and governs data structures for business rules and business data
  • Support data mapping, transformation, and aggregation to prepare data for tool integrations to ensure consistent flow of data from source systems to target system
  • Participates in development of test plan, testing, implementation, and training activities
  • Conducts post implementation activities including problem solving and measurement of benefits achieved
  • Participates in production support & maintenance activities associated with core International Programs platforms and applications

 

What we are looking for:

 

  • Minimum 3-5 years as a business analyst, preferably in international projects and the insurance industry, with a solution and delivery mindset.
  • In-depth understanding of the insurance sector, particularly Commercial Insurance (Non-Negotiable).
  • Proficient in capturing, analyzing, and translating complex business and data requirements into functional requirements.
  • Experienced in agile environments, comfortable in complex international projects, and possessing strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, business information, or equivalent, with advanced English language skills, both orally and in writing.
