Senior IT Delivery Manager & Chapter Lead
Located in Diegem, our IT Hub team is the backbone of application development and maintenance for Zurich's Commercial Insurance business units in Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Netherlands, Norway, and Sweden.
As the Senior IT Delivery Manager & Chapter Lead, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of multiple projects, ensuring seamless stakeholder management and execution.
This is a fulltime hybrid role where you will be working from our office Diegem, Belgium.
Your Role:
The Senior IT Delivery Manager & Chapter Lead will take the responsibility of end-to-end Project Oversight, overseeing all phases of project life cycles, from inception through planning, execution, monitoring, and closure; Resource Allocation in ensuring optimal allocation of resources across projects, balancing workload and skill sets within the team; Risk Management in identifying potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to keep projects on track; Budget Management by developing and managing budgets, ensuring projects are delivered within financial constraints; and Performance Tracking by utilizing metrics and KPIs to track project performance and regular reporting on progress to senior management and stakeholders.
She/he will also be leading the Analysis chapter that consists of several product owners and business analysts working in multiple Agile squads to serve predefined business objectives.
The role is based in Diegem but team is geographically distributed, mainly between Brussels and Stockholm.
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience (min.10 years) as a program/Project manager, with a minimum of 5 years as a direct people manager;
- Proven experience with complex stakeholder management;
- Masters in Computer Science, Mathematics or Economics, or equivalent;
- Experience in insurance domain is an additional benefit;
- Fluent in English is a requirement;
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders
- Understanding of Agile methodology
- Ability to communicate technical details to non-technical stakeholders
