Citrix Service Delivery Manager

Zurich Dublin Technology Center is looking for a Citrix Service Manager to work as part of a global Zurich team managing the outsourced Citrix and VDI services alongside implementation of the cloud VDI services.

 

Your Role

As a Citrix Service Manager to your main responsibilities will include, but not necessarily be limited to, the following:

  • Act as the point of contact for Citrix and VDI services and act as technical lead / consultant for transformation projects on the Citrix platform.
  • Own the operational relationship with the supplier, managing effective delivery of the service and ensuring SLAs and KPIs are met.
  • Provide subject matter expertise, technical support and consultancy for the Citrix and VDI services.
  • Provide oversight of releases and changes ensuring stability targets are achieved. Provide technical review and QA of global changes.
  • Contribute to the development of roadmaps and strategic planning and support implementation and operation of the new cloud VDI solution.
  • Contribute to the development of standards and oversee governance of the standards on the Citrix platform and drive service improvement programs through effective use of KPIs and liaise with the internal Business Units to ensure the service delivery meets expectations and optimal user experience.
  • Support incident and problem management process with strong problem solving and root cause analysis skills.
  • Support implementation of and compliance with Security standards and vulnerability management.
  • Drive the alignment of physical and virtual desktops as well as the cloud and on-prem platforms and support the creation and maintenance of knowledge base articles, run book documentation, user guides and reporting.

Your Skills and Experience

As a Citrix Service Manager you will be an experienced IT Service / Supplier Manager with subject matter expertise in Citrix and EUC technologies. Strong knowledge of modern device management and a working knowledge of Azure would be beneficial.

 

Your skills and qualifications will include:

Specific requirements:

  • 2-5 years experience in IT Service / Supplier Management.
  • 2-5 years experience as SME of Citrix and VDI technologies
  • Excellent communication skills, analytical skills, problem solving and decision making. 
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows 10 Modern management (including Intune, Autopilot). 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 products.
  • Working knowledge of Cloud platforms such as Azure 
  • Experienced in the practical application of ITIL processes
  • Good organizational skills and time management. Able to work under own initiative with minimal supervision as part of a global team.

 

Certification   

  • ITIL Foundation/Intermediate certification or equivalent.
  • Relevant technical certification from Citrix and Microsoft.

Additional Information

Primary work location is Dublin. Position is Blackrock-based but occasional travel may be required to other Zurich locations.
