Your Opportunity 

Would you like to work for one of the world’s biggest and most respected Insurance companies?  Would you like to earn whilst you are studying towards achieving qualifications? If so, this apprenticeship could be for you.  

Our apprenticeship programme within our marketing function, known as the Customer Office, lets you get hands-on experience from some of the best marketers in the industry.  

Your role could involve: 

• Working with our digital experience team and learning how we engage with our customers via various digital platforms. 

• Supporting the design and delivery of our events 

• Developing effective ways of communicating with our customers 

• Spending time with our various marketing teams to become a rounded and knowledgeable marketeer.  

You will become a very rounded and knowledgeable marketeer who understands the key components of any marketing team. You’ll then home in on what excites you for your future career.

What can I look forward to? 

During your marketing apprenticeship you’ll: 

• Contribute to creation of written plans, evaluation documents and presentations. 

• Use appropriate research methods to gather insight or evaluation 

• Use data to inform marketing decisions 

• Collaborate with colleagues in sourcing, creating and editing content for our various marketing channels. 

• Identify and use emerging trends to implement effective marketing activities

You’ll also be part of an encouraging community that helps you grow both professionally and personally. There will be a combination of in-house and external training, all tailored to your needs. 

Alongside your day-to-day work, you’ll complete a Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer apprenticeship which will take around 18 months to complete. In addition to investing in your learning, we give you time to study as well as the opportunity to put what you learn into practice. 

Your qualification is just the start of your career at Zurich. Once your apprenticeship is complete you will have plenty of opportunities to put your new skills into practice while continuing to develop and grow.

What you’ll need: 

• Full right to work and reside in the UK - Due to government regulations, we cannot accept applications from those who require a visa to live and work in the UK. You must have the indefinite right to live and work in the UK and have resided here for a minimum of three consecutive years. 

• A minimum of five GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C/4 including Maths and English.  

• A professional attitude with a positive ‘can do’ approach to your work 

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills 

• Ability to build strong working relationships  

NB: Due to Apprenticeship funding rules, we can only accept applicants who haven’t completed a qualification in the same field at the same or higher level to the course you are applying for
