Senior Fullstack Developer

Main function of job:

• Participate in development and user experience discussions, collaborate with UI designers to define frontend design solutions.
• Conduct system development, coding and design including documentation following by company IT policy
• Provide daily support to maintain the system up and running smoothly to support day-to-day business operation
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system errors

Main job responsibilities:

• To perform system and database design, coding and development for project or system enhancement to meet business goals and objectives
• To cooperate with the team to collaborate through the entire software development life cycle such as design, development, implementation, maintenance, and improves business applications.
• Design interface prototypes based on requirement documents and complete development tasks as scheduled.
• Responsible for standardizing and optimizing existing system code.
• Address frontend page compatibility, stability, and performance issues.
• To support the implementation activities, troubleshooting system environmental issues and providing training as required.
• Manage, resolve and investigate production system issues with system vendors and internal application teams.

Your Skills and Experience

• Bachelor Degree or above in Computer Science or related discipline is preferred
• A minimum of 7 years of experience as a Developer including frontend or backend development.
• Web development: experience in Next.js or ReactJS and REST/JSON
• Web development: extensive experience in HTML, CSS and Javascript
• Microservices: experience in Node.JS and/or Nest.JS, Postgresql and Redis
• Proficiency in either English or Cantonese and the ability to use it as a working language.
• Experience with JEST, JIRA, GitHub, SonarQube or experience in Insurance  is a plus
