Accounting Officer (General Insurance)

Job Accountabilities

  • Support month-end and quarter-end closing
  • Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly financial and management reports
  • Perform analysis and account reconciliations
  • Perform insurance and non-insurance balances settlements
  • Prepare daily and weekly cashflow projections
  • Support annual audit, IA filing and levies payment
  • Assist in other ad hoc tasks assigned by manager

 

Job Qualification

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines
  • Progressing with professional accounting qualification is an advantage
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in financial reporting, preferably in insurance industry
  • Knowledge in HKRBC and IFRS 17 is a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills; self-motivated and able to work under tight reporting timelines
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Well versed software skills including MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint; experience in SAP is preferable
