Actuarial Associate (Life Valuation)


Job Responsibilities

  • Assist the manager in carrying out operational and development tasks to facilitate the business decision making
  • Carry out financial report on Local Statutory and Solvency II basis
  • Carry out business planning, experience studies and assumption setting
  • Maintain and enhance financial valuation system including actuarial modeling
  • Develop the capabilities and competency required for the future development of the Life Actuarial Department
  • Perform any other duties, tasks oriented or actuarial related as may be delegated by superiors in the Life Actuarial Department


Job Requirements

  • Undergraduate in Actuarial Science or related disciplines
  • Good progress to an Associate of a recognized actuarial institute
  • Knowledge in methodology and principles in Local Statutory Reporting, Solvency II & MCEV
  • Working knowledge of Prophet software
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Access and VBA
  • Good analytical skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal competencies
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Actuarial Assistant
