Job Responsibilities
- Perform IFRS 17 reporting and business planning to support business decision-making
- Support the HKRBC reporting, including model enhancement and result analysis
- Assist in the review of experience studies and assumptions setting
- Maintain and enhance financial valuation system including actuarial modeling
- Perform any other duties, tasks oriented or actuarial related as may be delegated by superiors in the Life Actuarial Department
- Coach junior colleagues to meet deliveries in IFRS 17 and HKRBC
Job Requirements
- Undergraduate in Actuarial Science or related disciplines
- Minimum 5 years of life actuarial experience
- Good progress to a fellow of a recognized actuarial institute
- Solid knowledge of life actuarial techniques, tools and methodologies
- Knowledge or exposure to IFRS 17 and HKRBC
- Knowledge of Prophet software, especially in ALS advantageous
