Assistant Claims Manager (Financial Lines)


Job Accountabilities

  • Responsible for the large and complex Financial Lines claims
  • Responsible for orgranizing customer meeting presentation and preparation of Powerpoint slides
  • Provide data analytics for Commercial portfolios  
  • Assist the head of Technical Centre with managerial tasks and other ad hoc tasks
  • Adhere to local regulatory and governance requirements throughout the life of the claim to ensure that we make decisions using the right standards.
  • Compliance with customer protocols/service charter


Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or above or equivalent working experience
  • 5 years or above experience in Financial Lines field
  • Strong legal knowledge with relevant qualification
  • Achieved recognized industry standard (e.g. Snr Asso. of ANZIIF)
  • Technical knowledge of products and services
  • Technical claims handling knowledge of Insurance products
  • With extensive experience with all major aspects of the claims adjustment process
  • Knowledge in claims handling, preferably with large and complex claims will be a key advantage
  • Understand local legislation and legal liability
  • Understand industry standards and protocol
  • Knowledge of claims agreements
  • Interpretation of policy over Knowledge and application of the litigation process
  • Good knowledge in claims with good customer service skill is a must
  • Knowledge of Liability and Employees’ Compensation claims an advantage
  • Data analytical skill is preferred
