IT Business Analyst


Job Accountabilities

  • Closely interact with business users, analyze business requirements and translate them into solution requirements
  • Assist business users in designing new and reviewing existing business processes to leverage the system implementation and the operation platform
  • Ensure the requirements are clearly defined and in details for system implementation and operation
  • Facilitate business users to prioritize requirements in accordance with project priorities, transaction volumes, processing frequencies, quality requirements, dependencies, resources availabilities, regulations, compliance & audit requirements and business objectives
  • Responsible for the documentation of business functional requirements and facilitate the working sessions for approved projects to ensure the compliance is in place
  • Ensure the change requests are managed and approved in accordance with project methodology
  • Review the existing practices and processes; manage the changes when necessary for continuous improvement and enhancement of system and operation platform


Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree with minimum 3 years of relevant experience in insurance industry
  • Experience in managing the project deliverables
  • Agile project management skills is preferable
  • Familiar with business processes, operations and terminologies in insurance industry
  • Good understanding of the entire project lifecycle
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all levels
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
