Project Manager

Zurich Cover More is seeking a Project Manager to join our Group in North America.

Project Manager  within the Travel Guard organizagtion provides support for daily operations/business as necessary. Travel Guard's Project Manager must have a well-rounded background and have the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.  Seeking a seasoned professional who independently manages medium to large-sized projects, overseeing the entire project lifecycle including planning, budgeting, team leadership, stakeholder communication, and risk mitigation, while coordinating across multiple teams to ensure project delivery on time and within budget.

Responsibilities Include: 
Both drive and assist in developing project plans, timelines, and work breakdown structures
Gather project requirements and document scope of work.
Create project documentation including meeting minutes, status reports, and risk assessments
Assign tasks to team members and monitor progress against deadlines.
Update project management tools with task status and identify potential roadblocks
Communicate project updates to stakeholders through regular reports
Facilitate team meetings and ensure effective communication among team members
Resolve conflicts within the team and escalate issues to senior leaders when necessary
Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies
Monitor and track risks throughout the project lifecycle
Maintain regular communication with project stakeholders to keep them informed of project progress
Address stakeholder concerns and manage expectation    

Basic Qualifications:
Project management knowledge: Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) 
Organizational skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines 
Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders 
Analytical skills: Ability to identify problems, analyze data, and propose solutions 
Technical proficiency: Familiarity with project management software tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Powerpoint, Excel)

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree required.  Masters degress in business or management a plus but not required
Experience in project management of related field
5 or more years in a leadership role.  This can include previous project management roles, supervisory roles or other management roles.  
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with Project managemet software
